Here's what I have done so far.

retopologizing the singing rat's head

topology change in progress. Zbrush is giving me hard time, crashing quite often (usually when I'm trying to save my work).

zbrushing singing rat's head. After 6 hours of work still not happy with the result.


and the next version. Added forehead, cheekbones, bigger ears and nose. So far I'm happy with it and will let it settle for a while. Time to work on rat's body!

ok I guess it's finished now. I modified my previous draft, the rat started looking to evil & powerful (it's supposed to look funny, remember). I tried to add a bit jamaican feeling as well (noticed the hat, didn't you?) so it would fit better with overall song style. So my lead singer is "bad clever reggae rat who owns the place" Maybe I should draw him with 5 toes, thinking about that...


... some hours later....got some feedback from fellow classmates and did a quick redraw for foot, knees and created a tail, (somehow forgot that, thanks micgaz!).

work in progress, creating bad-boy look for lead singer. Not really happy with hands at this point, probably will redraw.

this one is supposed to look bad-guy. I'm having troubles giving him the look, still looks so friendly and innocent :)
